The Germans Defended the Russians in a Few Hours

The Germans defeated this by simply having two guns not fire while the other ones fire and then covered them when they were loading. The Russian second division was rendered completely combat and effective and destroyed it in a few hours of fighting. Their division suffered 3000 casualties, the vast majority of them from artillery and machine gun fire. So yeah, just eating their own men alive.
