How to Use List Comprehensions in Python

A lot of the features that people like to use, even with statements, are actually more recent developments. So if you're on some old version, some versions of Mac OS are running Python 2.5 and you don't know it... It's always good to check your assumptions. And so I think that map and filter are kind of just antiquated tools that are in the language because they're hard to take out as keywords built in functions.
