The Greatest Boy Band Song Ever

Max Martin popularized the idea that like you have to hit the chorus before a minute into the song or whatever. I think naturally, even as a listener, I don't have any training in this, but I can tell when a song feels like it's not satisfying something and it's because there's something feels imbalanced or whatever. But yeah, this is a Backstreet Boys household. Absolutely. Was it immediately obvious to everyone that I wanted that way? Like are you at all surprised at how revered this song is 20 years later?
