Roman Catholic History - The Bishops of Rome

There was no single bishop at rome for almost a century after the death of the apostles. And it was again, not until late second century, when the pressures of doctrinal heresy and things like that a move on the church, that they moved to elevate one person. But even then, again, having a bishop at r Rome, ok, that's not enough. I meaner, merely having a bishop is not nearly enough to say you got a pope.
