Is This the Spirit of His Con?

When I arrived at the program in the program, there was this cultural discourse about how it sort of shifted to be a primarily Marxist department. But what happened instead is that when we were running low on faculty, they hired two people who were. One was a Marxist and his wife, Bonu Bargu, she does bio politics but with a very heavily, I guess I would say historical materialist bent. And now I think it's changing a little bit. The students certainly are doing more interesting work, but there aren't really that many people in the faculty to advise them with that. It doesn't happen in that many places.
