The Complexity of OCD

With OCD, it's associated with a high sort of complexity of thought and in that many people with OCD have been tested as being average to above average and intelligence. We'll often see sometimes people with OCD or kids in particular might have this, almost like this dichotomy of where they carry the weight of the world and their shoulders. They're almost like old souls in a way. But socially, because they're individuals who are almost thinking too much in that way of an adult, that they do have a hard time sometimes relating to peers who don't think in those terms.
