The Root of Gar in Gar Is Not Related to Gar, Right?
Garlic comes from Asia and maybe around the Mediterranean. I don't think it's something that came over with from the Americas. The root of gar in garlic is actually a spear or a javelin, which looks different than when a leak pierces the ground. Daniel: Have you ever seen either a head of garlic or a spear before?
