How to Make the Transition From Complete Artist to Semi-Pro
The business person does need to be aware of the business. Talk it over with your spouse or significant other before you make that leap. Chase your passion and don't let anybody talk you off the ledge. If you fail, learn from it. Don't spend all your time doing it. But realize that you are in a business and it's not just an art. There is a business side to it and be willing to take the time and the effort to learn the business as well as the art.
