Sniff and Smell Detection in Elephants
Researchers in south africa have found out that elephants actually have a finer developed sense of smell than dogs. An elephant has 2000 genes all coded for smelling which is twice that of dogs and five times of that to humans. Elephants were also very good at detecting TNT and trace amounts of TNT over two-year period.
