There is no need to get fake deep about, ah, they got into Minecraft so they'd have something to construct their identity around. It explains nothing and consistently makes incorrect predictions about the internal experiences of Minecraft nerds. The only virtue is making people feel better about being annoyed by those weirdos who won't shut up about Minecraft.
