The Importance of Sleep

A week later, I come back to the gallery of Modnart for the press opening. If you come out of that iridescent corridor into this extraordinary room that's just flooded with sunlight. There are pink and orange and turquoise and blue film over the windows so that the room feels like you're inside a church. Eventually, I find Alberta in a celebratory red dress, in a high-sealing room with bespoke furniture, shaped like commas. She invites the audience to sit and look at our painting, which in its final form and setting really has a euphoric quality.
