The Power of Representation

I think people presume that I would not be willing to or be able to work with my Republican colleagues. There are Republicans in Congress like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boberts who probably would never want to work with me. But I have made it a point of finding opportunities to find common ground because beyond the headlines, beyond what's on cable news, there are a lot of issues that we actually agree on. And so every bill that I have been able to pass and introduce up until this point has passed with a bipartisan majority including major Democratic priorities.
