What Is a Random String?

A random string is its own shortest description, meaning the quickest way for me to tell you what the string is is just to read the string out. So by contrast, if i had to tell you that, say, password, it's not obvious that there's any way i can summarize that for you. That seems to be a random collection of numbers. And that gives us, using colmgar of complexity, the idea of what a random string is.
