The thing i love most about the constitution is the potential. There's so much potential there to be a great society, one as inclusive and representative and fair. One at really makes us worthy of the country that we think we are. We have more power than we realize. We just have to claim it, and we have to demand it. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress. This was said by escaped slave statesman, abolitionist and orator frederick douglas, 18 57. So the full passage is, power concedes nothing without a demand. Never did and it never will.
