The Changes That We See in the Fossil Record of Horses Make Sense
Fossil horses are found in sediments that, as creationists, we think are post flood sediments. And the trends that we see in the fossil record of horses make sense in that context. The reduction of side toes to a single hoof kind of makes sense if the world is drying out and the grass lands are spread and the ground is becoming harder. We have an overall size increase, which is something that we typically think is probably a connected to a cooling climate.
