Andy Hackers: Do you think that you're necessarily going to regret spending lots of time working if you can align your work with things that you actually enjoy doing in your day to day life rather than only having your job be a bunch of drudge work? DHH: I like truffles and strawberries. There are things you like in life that you savor and you have just a bit of it. And I love programming. But I feel like the chance of me wanting to puke from it as in the strawberry case is if I try to forge on it for like 80 hours a week, I'm going to end up burning out on it.
