I'm so much more comfortable showing the crunchy bits of my soul when there's a little invisible sign over my head saying like this isn't her. Almost because you don't have a direction to a character to play or... It's vulnerable. There's some actors who just don't give much when they're or all they do is act and it's like oh Jesus Christ please give us a break in their real life. And I feel like you very much are grounded in who you are but then also have this interest and enjoyment in performing. "It's the arena where I can kind of use the things that really aren't useful"
