Is There a Mechanism Where Domestic Accountability Even Matters to Putin?

I fear meher that this is just a brutal story for us, and that things are going to get much worse before they get better. But i do think that this combination of consequences is going to lead to a fundamental rethinking among the russians about whether this path to becoming a pariah state was worth it. I'm more optimistic that there are still potential negotiated solutions out there - but these are very stringent demands. Wrihte that basically you d militarize. You no longer have a military, you no longer try to join nato, and you disorganize the governants of the country in such a profound way that basically the country can never definitively go either east
