The Apple 3: The Next Big Apple
The Apple 3 was the company's first project as it grew. Wozniak: "We needed to start staffing up and hire a lot more engineers" The new machine would come pre-installed with an internal floppy disk drive. It booted into an 80-column text mode, replacing 40 columns of big blocky text.
