The Importance of Having a Background in Language

Much of the stuff that I heard in Stargate was just sort of bastardized ancient languages or just random words. They kind of make a joke of the fact that the Ghoul ruled in the Jaffa, apparently, just say Cree all the time. But my feeling is, say in the last five, six, seven years, there's a great deal less of this.
