How Do We Get Meaning?

Alana: There's something that's emerging in our computer models of language, t that seems to be getting closer to meaning. Dowe: It is interesting to think abot it like our computer models have no concept of what the real world is and so they say cat, but they don't really understand cat in a grounded way. Alana: I'm not sure we can get the whole way with the kind of text that we are using right now to train our models. But i did hear one interesting em thing, sort of osed by someone, that if we had the right kind of textual data, we might have enough.
