The Importance of Being a Social Being
As the youngest child among older brothers who are full of flaring example, you become a social being. You learn very quickly that if you're boring, you just get stopped. It makes you very good at inventing things. And there's an extension of that, perhaps, or a cousin to this, which is the working class dinner table. If I said it, I would get the full attention of the older siblings. They all would just say, would you shut up and go away?
