LZ Granderson: One of the things and concerns that people have is not being afraid of saying the wrong thing or asking a silly question. LZ: I think it's important to realize that the fear is quite natural. So if I expect that I will feel uncomfortable before this presentation or there's a likelihood that my heart would start racing, I can just accept it and go on in any case. She says complimenting someone at the start helps them connect with you while they are presenting. And one, if anyone in your audience is a preparer, maybe beforehand, see what are the topics.
