The Explosive Failure of the Engine
There was an explosive failure of the combustion chamber outer case and the damage to the adjoining tank access panel were clearly related events. Marks on the access panel fragments exactly match the shape of the domed head of the separated number nine combustor can and the fan case fragment. Well, the fuel started dripping out, which then hit the hot gases escaping from the engine and ignited and started the fire. Just really bad luck. It's just like pure dumb luck. And why it just combusted, exploded because. There was fuel in there and ignited that fuel. Exactly. But it turns out it didn't just hit like a random part of the underside of the wing. It hit an access panel
