The Power of Negative Examples
The author says irrelevant cues are helpful for learning for transfer because of learning what to ignore that actually reminds me of bilingualism. People become better at screening out things that are irrelevant this is probably partly because of their wider sort of broader sort of knowledge. The power of negative examples as well and it helps you learn something faster and more effectively.
