The Importance of Being an Indie User

I think one way that really helps software engineers to come up with good tests is basically to be a user of the product that they are building. In my experience, I've worked for more than 10 different companies. And so I would never be able to understand all the behaviors that I would have in the system. But I really think it's very important to be an indie customer when you are a developer just to be able to analyze and understand the user experience.
