Oral Beta Lactams for Gram Negative Bacteria

Oral step down therapy for bloodstream infections from inner of actor Ali has been traditionally limited to fluoroquinolones and back drum. However, adverse effects of these agents and increasing resistance call for the evaluation of other options. The authors performed a multi-center retrospective cohort study of 397 patients who received 14 days of oral antibiotics. They found no difference in Oral antibiotic changes, C-dif development or readmission rates.
