The History of the Khadiz Adelis in India

The heyday of the Khadiz Adelis was the mid-17th century. Not long after, we find new madrasas opening in the cities of the Ottoman Empire. These schools would continue to train religious scholars and juris in the rational sciences. Major change would come only in the 19th century with reforms inspired by European models of education.
