JetBlue's Merger With Spirit Airlines

The Justice Department is suing to block the acquisition, which is valued at about $3.8 million. The DOJ said that JetBlue's plan would eliminate the unique competition that Spirit provides and about half of all ultra-low-cost seats in the industry. Four more states have joined the lawsuit against the merger.
