I Was a Grad Student at Harvard, and I Went to Philosophy Grad School

I didn't learn anything about jaz popular music was not really on the table. My dad was a philosopher, so i'd always kind of felt comfortable with philosophy. I remember a thousand people packed the room for his first lecture and he just read random words for like three hours. So i guess what i'm trying to say is this was an era where people really didn't think of music as something you did with the body.
