We don't know much about how salt taste works, but it's become public enemy number one. Our bodies need sugar like sugar is pure energy; we've evolved to really love it. We're no longer in the environment where we'd get sugar from berries on bushes. Is there a way we could trick our body into thinking something is sweet that is not full of sugar?
