Is There a Dividend Irrelevance Theory?
Total return should be your focus and not dividend. That's why you own a company in this world. But if you think of yourself as a business owner, what do you want to take out of the business? As much more than you can. And then secondly, why it's really irrelevant for me is that I'm a passive income investor. So when you're a dividend investor focused on growing passive income, then the whole dividend irrelevance theory is irrelevant for me because I'm not looking at that.
