The Evolution of Weather Forecasting

The system that I know of best that are doing a fantastic job of prediction on using massive computers is weather forecasting. They use this agent-based approach a lot and they've gotten really, really good. And it's going to rain an hour from now and lo and behold, it does. That's a pretty big development because people have been bagging on weather reports for a long time. But weather is actually an emergent phenomenon, all of weather. Right?
