The Fountain of Living Water
In the ancient days, what they would typically do is, if you didn't have source to a well, you'd have to build a cistern. So ponder the irony. Rather than turning to god for our water, we have expelled our own water. There are so many distractions in the modern church all yelling at us, telling us how we can be godly and spiritual. And it seems like what the modern church has done as we have forsaken the fountain of living waters - jesus himself.
