Do We Sound Twangy?

The term twang has its origins in a descriptor of the sound of the voice as kind of being bright and like a stringed instrument. It could be used as something that you could put in musical theatre sounds, or contemporary commercial voice. And we began to find applications for the use of this bright, brassy quality with people who had weak voices.
