Women's Rights - The White Revolution

The Shah introduced a six-point reform program, which was referred to back then as the white revolution. The reforms were so significant that they drew the ire of Iran's religious establishment. In March 3, 1963, Iranian women were finally allowed to vote for the first time. This movement that started in 1905 yielded its fruit of victory for women.
