Rod Stewart's Anxiety

Paul Westerberg tried overdosing on narcotic samples stored at his house by one of his sisters who was working as a nurse. He said his most vivid memory from the OD was his father shoving a banana in his face saying, Eat this, God damn it. But what always brought Paul back to the center was music. In 1975 he went to the Minneapolis auditorium and saw the last live performance of a band that featured the aforementioned Rod Stewart as lead singer.
