I Am the Light of the World
The light of the world is what Jesus has claimed for himself. Anybody can get on it, but it's singularly exclusive. It's a mission to bring about the works of God within the world that are motivated in love. And so this moves us from Jesus' statement about what it means for him to be I am the life to the sign. So if this was the out of the burning bush I am moment, we're now moving into the signing itself.
