The Senate Is a Majoritarian Institution, Right?
The founders intended the senate to be a majoritarian institution, not an undemocratic one. The authors say they're troubled by the original design of the senate which makes Wyoming grossly over represented on a per capita basis. They side with the founders because they say, the founders weren't interested in super majoritarian requirements for typical legislation. If you want to remove a member from congress, you have thee super matoritarian requirements.
