The Night Sky Is a Beautiful Natural Resource
Satellites are not huge, and the night sky is very big. The idea of there being 100,000 of these would be completely catastrophic for our viewers to the night sky. It's also bad for amateur star gazes because they just want to get their nice pretty pictures from a telescope. For radio astronomy, especially the mobile internet star-link type satellites, it could be great if you want wireless internet in the middle of the Pacific.
