Is Hewitt Entitled to Overtime?
Michael Hewitt worked on an offshore oil rig for Helix Energy Solutions. He oversaw various aspects of the rigs operations and supervised 12 to 14 workers. Generally, he got paid $200,000 annually; is he a salaried employee? Or is he entitled to overtime? David Bianculli: The regulations don't care really, asterisk, how much you make. And they're saying, look, he's clearly paid on a daily basis. So he's entitled to overtime.
