John Butters' EY Preview

John Butters is taking a look at the amount of buy ratings by sell side analysts in the S&P 500. Nearly 55% of ratings are buy ratings, above the five year average of 54%. 10 of 11 sectors have seen an increase of buys rating since the February 2023 led by the financials to 53%, from 43, 47. The energy 64% in communication services, 62% and we know communication services, some of those much loved technology stocks here have the highest percentage of buy rating.
