I feel like some random captain and commander in the Clone Army just would not be the one to invent most of those codes and protocols. I think it was more of an artistic choice. Showing that the grizzled old war veteran who's kind of like been around the block. She's like way more important than he needs to be. It wasn't even, it was thinking he wasn't even a commander. He was a captain. But then at the very end of Clone Wars, he was promoted to Cap, to commander in order to lead the troops with a Soka to Mandalore. So does that mean the commander X?
