I think even before this happened, both Jones and Pearson were destined for a national stage. And I think also, you know, they're different from what the majority of the legislature here in Tennessee looks like,. They're not old white men. Both of them have sort of this like activist background. So this was already inevitable where Republicans have just sort of lit a match to the fuel.
