Euripides' version of Madea is very cool in a way that I was not expecting. She's very much like a Homeric hero, she has a sort of authority and power. And he's part of a long sequence of people who were pissed off with Euripides. A lot of people get really drawn into Euripides, Madea, and want to understand where she came from.
