Whether you regard an explanation for why you have a moral belief as debunking or vindicating depends on other controversial assumptions. You learn about why you believe something that makes you even more convinced that the belief is true. So i think what we want to talk about, and the couple f things that we read on this issue, involve value judgments immoral beliefs. And when they're debunking it means grounds for skepticism. And sometimes they might even vindicating.
