The oil companies are all investing in renewables. They have figured out before the pandemic that they need to please shareholders and give them money back. BP considers growing its retail unit as part of its transition quote, business. So as Bloomberg puts it in BP speak, ordering a cup of coffee at one of its gas stations helps to save the planet.
