Is Machine Learning on the Right Track to Get There?
DeepMind's mission statement is to develop more general and capable problem solving systems known as artificial general intelligence, AGI. Do you think that the current approaches in machine learning are on the right track to get there? Well, I mean, this is the million dollar question. If I knew the answer to that question, then yeah, the field would be in a very different place I think if the answer went on to that question. So at the moment, you can really see answers to that question are sort of lying in two different camps, I think.
