Is There a Tolerance of Divergent Religious Ideas?
If there was no sort of articulated concept of a free speech but rather, you could say, a tolerance of divergent religious ideas. I found some examples that come sort of close, i would say, to recognizing the idea - at least whene i read them as a non specialist. There was a quote from alkind where he writes: 'You shouldn't be ashamed of appreciating the truth and acquiring it' That very explicitly also says, you know, people who are unbelievers, who are non arabs, non moslems, their ideas have value as well. So that's suggest sort of an openness to to other ideas. Well. Let me say the reason i agree with
