Absalom's Servant
Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar to leave him. After two full years, Absalom invited all the king's sons for sheepshares at Ba'al Hazor near Ephraim. But when David heard of these things, he tore his garments and lay on the earth. The servants of Absalom did to Amnon as Absalom had commanded. All theKing's sons arose and each mounted his mule and fled. While they were on the way, tidings came to David that Absalom has slain all the king’s sons; not a single one is left.
